Descriptio Brevis:

Filtrum particularum dieselium praecipue in systemate purificationis gasorum exhaustorum machinae dieseliae adhibetur ad problema pollutionis aeris solvendum. Structuram favi favi adoptat, et meatus separatos aperientes et obstruentes in utroque extremo constituit; gas exhaustum per unum extremum apertum intrat, deinde per parietem porosum alvearis transit, et tandem per meatum adiacens emittit. Particulae carbonis in pariete meatus relinquuntur quia nimis magnae sunt ad foramen parietis transeundum et in aerem non emittentur. Filtrum particularum dieselium fumum nigrum (PM, e.g., hydrocarbonas, fuligo) ex emissione exhaustorum machinae dieseliae efficaciter removere potest, plerumque DPF 90% vel plus fuliginis removet.
